Outside Man Issa Ibrahim 2016 music CD- Limited Edition, limited quantities collector’s item UPC 190394533014
Perhaps my best recording on my 16-track machine- Latrine Studios I call it, because I started recording with it in the bathrooms of the asylum. Now, though it records wherever I go, the spirit of the bathroom lingers- Latrine Studios…where shit happens. “Where The White Women At?” is a tongue-in-cheek Hip Hop/soul parody where no one is spared, taking its title from a great scene in the Mel Brooks film ‘Blazing Saddles’. Stand out tracks are “Sick of Me”, “Fun in The Suburbs”, “My First Heart Attack”, “Bored American Housewife”, and “Flatbush Girl”. The album closer “You Can’t Save Everybody” really has the sound and theme of the end, not only to a record but to a career in music. Somehow, I pulled one more release of original material out of me before calling it a day, but this one is really my ‘Abbey Road’ …enjoy!
Fave track- “GIRLS WORST NIGHTMARE”. With this song opening the album I believe I successfully brought all listeners up to speed where I could then for the remainder of the album explore other themes.
12 songs written, performed and produced by Issa Ibrahim. Limited quantities.
