SUPERSEX superhero parody 12” x 16” canvas print of artwork by Issa Ibrahim
This is a print on canvas of a painting from 2010, before the comic book storyline where the two eventually hooked up. It’s a portrait of the lovers who never were. For decades Superman’s handlers, so bent on maintaining his image as the paragon of virtue and morality, couldn’t conceive of him having sexual urges beyond his schoolboy-like crush on Lois Lane. I always believed he and Wonder Woman a perfect match. Him being a super powered alien and she a warrior princess, they both can handle each other. Here they adjourn to his crash pad, The Fortress of Solitude, to get down on the frozen tundra.
Canvas print stretched on wood frame.
